Our Process

We like to provide all our clients with a smooth and Giddy experience from start to finish, so here is exactly how a project moves from first visit to finished garden.

Onsite consultation, about 30 minutes

We meet you on site and discuss the scope of your landscaping project.

Path 1

Construction Quote

When the scope is clear

A construction quote with a small allocation towards a landscape design will be provided. The design is used internally to clarify the job.

  • No variations to the design
  • No planting plan, limited creative design
  • Best for straightforward work: a paved path, a deck, a few plants alongside.

Straight to construction

No design stage needed, we move to Step 3.

Path 2

Design Quote

When creative direction is needed

We create a 2D landscape design including a full plant list. This is priced on the estimated size of the job, paid 50% up front and 50% on completion.

  • Up to 3 variations included
  • Further variations $110 inc. GST, added to the final design invoice.

Construction quote

Happy with the design and ready to build with us? We send a construction quote, always within the budget agreed during design.

Construction begins

Work starts once the 10% deposit has been paid.

The job progresses

Progress payments are made as the build moves through its stages.

Completion & final invoice

Any variations along the way are added to a progress payment and/or the final payment.
